Principal

Hello! I'm Araceli Osborn, and I'm thrilled to join Oak View Elementary as your new principal. I am eager to work with all stakeholders this year to ensure a safe and successful learning environment. My priorities include student achievement and fostering a scholar mentality in our students.

I believe that parent involvement is crucial to a child's educational success, and I am committed to working closely with families to support our students. By collaborating as a team, we can create a nurturing environment that encourages growth and learning. I encourage parents to actively participate in school activities and maintain open communication with teachers and staff to ensure that we are all working towards the same goals.

I bring a diverse background in education, having served as a teacher and interventionist before becoming an elementary assistant principal in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. I hold a BA in Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), and two master's degrees: an M.A. Ed in Digital Teaching and Learning from Azusa Pacific University and an M.A. Ed in Educational Administration from Concordia University. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate at CSUF, focusing on teacher professionalism and professional development, with plans to complete my dissertation by the end of this school year.

On a personal note, my husband Don and I enjoy spending time with our children. I love staying active and visiting Disneyland, the beach, and the desert. We also have two adorable pups, Coco Bunny and Manny.

I am looking forward to a great year working together at Oak View Elementary and achieving great things for our students!
